BATH, S.D. (AP) -- A 2-year-old girl was rescued after wandering into a cornfield near the northeastern South Dakota town of Bath and being lost for 2½ hours.
Authorities say Addison Everson was cold and wet from rain but unharmed.
The girl wandered into the field near the home of her parents, Kyle and Shawna Everson, late Wednesday morning.
Nearly 75 family members, volunteers and authorities from 10 state and local agencies searched for the girl. They made two trips through the corn before finding her.
