ALEXANDER - A diesel spill has been reported at a bulk fuel storage tank farm in McKenzie County.
Danco Transport release 400 gallons of diesel after a valve was left open as a truck was offloading fuel into the tank farm in Alexander, according to a news release sent out on Wednesday. The spill impacted water in an unnamed tributary to Lonesone Creek.
The tank farm is owned by Rolfson Oil. The spill has been contained.
North Dakota Department of Health officials responded and will assist with remediation plans.
