Energy & Environmental Research Center Welcomes New Employees
Arelys Salazar has joined the EERC as a Reservoir Engineer. She holds a M.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a Specialist degree in Integrated Reservoir Management and a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela. Prior to her position at the EERC, Ms. Salazar served at ConocoPhillips and Halliburton.
Alexis Thompson is welcomed to the EERC as an Accountant in Financial Services, where she will provide accounting and business support for the EERC and, accounting, processing and reporting for the EERC Foundation. She holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota - Crookston.
Dr. Alexander Chakhmakhchev has joined the EERC as a Principal Scientist with over 20 years of industry and academic geoscience experience. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Geochemistry from the All-Russia Research Institute for Geological, Geochemical, and Geophysical Information Systems, Moscow, and a M.S. degree in Petroleum Geology from Moscow State University.
Dr. Dapo Awolayo has joined the EERC as a Reservoir Engineer. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada; a M.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Khalifa University (formerly Petroleum Institute), Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.; and a B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Nigeria.
