ROCHESTER, Minn. — The new owner of Rochester's Post-Bulletin newspaper has named an interim publisher.

Post-Bulletin General Manager Chris Blade will step into the top leadership role at the newspaper to replace Ken Nelson, who has been publisher since August 2018.

Aaron Becher, Forum Communications Co.'s vice president of newspaper operations, announced Blade's promotion.

Fargo-based Forum Communications acquired the Post-Bulletin on June 1.

"We look forward to working with Chris and the entire Rochester team during the process of acquisition and beyond," said Becher in the announcement.

Blade has worked for the Post-Bulletin for 18 years. She has served as business manager and human resources director.

She was named general manager in 2012.
