Market President Changes at Dacotah Bank in Dickinson

Jeff Moore announced his retirement as market president of Dacotah Bank in Dickinson effective March 31st, 2019.

Travis Ellison, market president of Dacotah Bank in Lemmon, SD, was selected to lead the Dickinson bank as Jeff Moores replacement. Travis is a Lemmon native. He graduated from Lemmon High School in 1990 and from Dickinson State University in 1995 with degrees in Farm and Ranch Management and Business Administration. He earned a masters degree in Management from the University of Mary in 2000 and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2007.

Ellison and his wife Carol have three children. Their daughter Amber is a sophomore at the University of Hawaii. They have two sons, Jake and Chance. Jake is a senior at Lemmon High School and Chance is a 5th grader at Lemmon Elementary. The family will make their home in Dickinson after the completion of this school year.

Garrett Schweitzer, ag banker with Dacotah Bank in Lemmon, SD has taken over for Travis as market president in Lemmon.
