The U.S. rig count was down 75 rigs from last week to 1192, with oil rigs down 64 to 922, gas rigs down 12 to 268, and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 2. The national rig count is down 600 rigs from last year at 1792, with oil rigs down 521, gas rigs down 77, and miscellaneous rigs down 2. North Dakota had 114 rigs on Friday, down from 191 last year.
