A boil order for tap water in the northwest towns of Fortuna, Columbus and Noonan has been lifted.
The North Dakota Department of Health declared the water once again safe for human consumption after about 100 barrels of brine and 140 barrels of oil were spilled at a well site five miles northwest of Crosby in Divide County.
Crosby remains on a boil order until officials receive test results, which are expected Wednesday. Residents in Crosby must continue to use bottled or boiled water for consumption.
