Excavation is planned at a worksite in Dickinson where a Bismarck man disappeared, according to a Dickinson Police Department press release.
Eric Haider, 30, was last seen at approximately noon Thursday at his worksite near Baker Hughes. Local firefighters and law enforcement searched for him over the weekend. Dakota Territory Search Dogs of Conde, S.D. scanned the area numerous times today with no success, according to the release.
DPD will dig in areas where there were open trenches or pits which were filled on the day of Haider's disappearance. Law enforcement is asking the public to avoid the search area to allow it and workers to do their job.
He is approximately 6-foot-1 and 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing dark work clothes and has multiple tattoos, according to a release from Friday.
He has various medical issues and does not have transportation in the area as he carpooled to Dickinson from Bismarck, authorities said.

Family members and friends of Haider were also at the site watching the search efforts. His mother, Maryellen Suchan, said it was frustrating that people think he walked off the site, adding he would not do that.
