BISMARCK - North Dakota’s Republican senator will host a farm bill roundtable on Monday in Bismarck.
Sen. John Hoeven has invited Michael Scuse, under secretary for Farm and Foreign Agriculture Services at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to discuss the bill’s implementation at Bismarck State College.
“We look forward to hosting USDA Under Secretary Scuse in North Dakota to hear directly from our producers as work continues on farm bill implementation,” Hoeven said in a release. “Our producers do a tremendous job providing the highest quality, lowest cost food supply in the world, and we need to do all we can to support their work.”
The roundtable begins at 10:30 a.m. Central Time in Room 335 at the National Energy Center of Excellence.
