Nabors Drilling was not issued any safety violations following an Occupational Safety and Health Administration report, according to the Houston-based company.
Though no injuries were reported as a result of the mishap, the tall derrick of Nabors drilling rig B-15 collapsed in mid-November several miles north of Belfield, bringing attention to drivers along nearby Highway 85.
In a one-page report obtained from Nabors, OSHA listed "no violations found" in connection with the collapse. Bismarck OSHA assistant area director Scott Overson declined to comment on the matter when contacted Tuesday.
