Results of an investigation into the death of a Dickinson man at an oil field site near Killdeer in August are expected to be released late next week, Occupational Safety and Health Administration Bismarck Area Director Eric Brooks said Thursday.
A derrick hand with Big Sky Well Service out of Belfield, Terry Metcalf died after a fall at a work site in Dunn County on Aug. 6. Brooks -- who has previously said the final report on the investigation was delayed because of another recent rig site accident near Belfield -- said he expects to have the findings by "late next week."
