Public hearings set on ND oil, gas rule changes

BISMARCK - The Department of Mineral Resources Oil and Gas Division has scheduled four public hearings to get input on proposed changes to state oil and gas rules.

BISMARCK – The Department of Mineral Resources Oil and Gas Division has scheduled four public hearings to get input on proposed changes to state oil and gas rules.

The rule changes include new regulations for gathering pipelines, requirements for dikes around well sites and new rules for saltwater handling facilities. The hearings are scheduled for:

  • Bismarck, 9 a.m. April 11, conference room of the Oil and Gas Division, 1000 E. Calgary Ave.
  • Dickinson, 9 a.m. April 12, conference room of the Oil and Gas Division Dickinson Field Office, 926 E. Industrial Drive
  • Williston, 9 a.m. April 13, Williston Community Library, 1302 Davidson Drive
  • Minot, 9 a.m. April 14, conference room of the Oil and Gas Division Minot Field Office, 7 3rd St. S.E., Suite 107
