BISMARCK -- About 250 barrels of saltwater were released, contained and recovered at a central tank battery about 13 miles north of Medora in Billings County, a North Dakota Oil and Gas Division release stated.
White Rock Oil & Gas, LLC reported Friday that the saltwater leaked because of a valve failure at the BSMU 2504 central tank battery.
A state inspector has been to the location.
