Thank You

I would like to extend an extremely heartfelt thank you to all of you during this most difficult time for myself and my family with the passing of my husband, Howard Gordon. There has been such an outpouring of love with cards, gifts, flowers, words, your presence, telephone calls and shoulders for me to cry on. It would take me a month to respond individually to the hundreds of cards, gifts, and flowers I have received. Some of you I do not even know or how to find you. This is truly a testament as to how Howard led his life and touched so many lives through his love of Christ. Howard had a genuine Christ-like love of people...and animals. Howard volunteered at House of Manna (his second family) and Oreo’s Animal Rescue for many years in addition to being a public servant in Seattle for 30 years. A Celebration of Life will be held in Seattle in August with Howard’s other second family, the King County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit. I would also like to extend a big thank you to the Dickinson Honor Guard, United Congressional Church (Pastor Janel Kolar), Dickinson United Methodist Church and Stevenson Funeral Home for all the love and compassion that went into sending Howard home to his Savior. This would not be complete if I did not mention Dr. Ralph Dunnigan and his compassion and love for Howard and myself. Howard will genuinely be missed by many. Especially by me.
