"I love the excitement on the kids' faces," Marleah Marsh, Stark County Fair Association, said. "We live in such a great community, and it amazes me every time I go to the many different events to see how everyone in the community is so willing to work so hard together. The Association is very lucky to be a part of some of these events."

The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., with admission free for all. Games, concessions, a dunk tank and many more carnival style games will be available on site. Families can enjoy a magic show, let the kids jump off some energy in one of six bounce houses and blow off some last month's steam before the school year kicks off.

Children can receive a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the first 100 children will receive a free t-shirt.

Marsh said that parents should be sure to register for a chance to win one of two new iPads, available with the donation of new school supplies. Eligibility requirements are available at the Stark County Fair website at

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office deputies have volunteered to get wet by being plunged into the dunk tank courtesy of a well placed throw from attendees, while the DSU softball team will be serving snow cones and cotton candy.

"We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the day with us," Marsh said. "Thank you to the community and the many sponsors for your support with this event."
