Spearheading new business in the Dickinson area, a windshield repair company hopes to offer the community a modern alternative to health and a unique and fun indoor leisure experience.

In December 2004, Just-In Glass opened for business in a small shop off Villard. In 2013, the expanding business moved to its current location at 21 Street East.

“I worked at a big corporate glass company and then decided to go out on my own,” Justin Olson, owner of Just-In Glass said. “ It's been a locally-owned business ever since we started it, and we hope to keep growing and to keep getting better at what we do.”

This year, the business expanded even more to include cryotherapy and a golf simulator — Just-In Cryo and Just-In Golf.

Adding more than just two new opportunities for Dickinson residents; Just-In Glass' expansion adds new winter opportunities.

With the winter winds bringing heavy snows, golfing opportunities on the Western Edge dry up, leaving golfers frozen from their passion and hobby.

Just-In Golf aims to help make the winter weather a bit more tolerable by offering a place that is 20 by 30 square feet to whack a few balls, have a drink and enjoy the company of friends and other golf enthusiasts.

Beginning Dec. 2, Just-In Golf will be starting their golf league, which will run until mid-April. The league will be 21 and over (with exceptions of parental acknowledgment), have from 12 to 15 duo teams and will be played on weekdays from approximately 4 to 8 p.m.

They are still registering teams, so for those wanting more information or to sign up should contact Just-In Golf at (701) 590-3992.

“For our leagues, we wanted to cover the time of year that people can't golf anymore, which usually isn't until after Easter,” Christian Olson said. “We just want people to get their golf fix during the winter months, because I know from my own experience that people will distract themselves in all kinds of ways, like app games, so I think this will be better than staring at a phone.”

Outside the league, the golf simulator will be available for rent including during the weekends. They do sell alcohol in the bar area, with a wide selection of more than 20 alcoholic beverages from which to choose.

While the golf simulator is a way to avoid the cold, cryotherapy puts the user right in it.

Cryotherapy may come off as futuristic or a part of a sci-fi movie, but it is essentially a fancy ice pack. The methodology is immersing the body in extremely cold temperature (220 degrees below Fahrenheit) for a short period of time while being safely monitored.

“It's such a huge benefit, helping with arthritis, dementia, work-out soreness, (and it) speeds recovery time and a lot more.” Olson said. “Norepinephrine is produced when going through the cryotherapy process…Its a happy hormone released... because when your body thinks that (you’d survived ) freezing and when you come out of the chamber you produce [NE] as a response... and that's one thing that has been proven in the studies.”

The cryotherapy chamber model is from Cryo Innovations which Just-In Cryo felt was a necessity for the safety of their consumers.

“The research that we did, Cryo Innovations, our manufacturer, is the safest cryotherapy on the market,” Justin Olson said. “ It has fingerprint, pulse, and respiratory monitoring; it requires a trained operator to be there or it will shut down within 30 seconds.”

Justin Olson has been a user of cryotherapy for about five years to find a solution and method to a pain he has had in his leg. He has tried it in different states and finally invested in his own to benefit his own family members. Now he wants to bring the same well being to the community of Dickinson.

A session is $40 and three sessions are $100. Right now exclusively, Just-In Cyro is offering a yearly prescription of cryotherapy for $500, which will only be offered for the first 100 people.

Cryotherapy has been known for helping with migraine symptoms, mood disorders, arthritis, preventing dementia and a lot more.

“We want to add more options for people. With the cryotherapy we thought, ‘It was a good new business that we are seeing all around the U.S.’, so the fact they are aren't here yet, we felt that it was only a matter of time.”

The winter can be brutal to bodies, minds and vehicles. If one find themselves hurting in or all of these categories, Just-in trifecta of businesses might be a stop to make.
