ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT District 202307-1 Dickinson, North Dakota Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the completed construction of Sidewalk Improvement District 202307-1 for the City of Dickinson, North Dakota, will be received at the office of the City Administrator, Attn: Sylvia Miller in the Dickinson City Hall, 38 1st Street West until 10:00 AM Mountain Time, Thursday, May 25, 2023. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened at the Dickinson City Hall, 38 1st Street West, Dickinson, North Dakota, and read aloud. This Project will consist of constructing new and/or removal and replacement of sidewalk, curb and gutter, and driveways and associated items with the following approximate quantities and types of work (not all bid items are listed): 1. 4” Concrete Sidewalk 15,000 SF 2. 6” Concrete Driveway 3,000 SF 3. Concrete Curb & Gutter, Gutter Removal and Replacement 2,000 LF 4. Concrete Removal 20,000 SF 5. All Miscellaneous Work Required to Complete the Project The work shall be completed by September 15, 2023. Copies of Bid Proposal and Specification may be examined or purchased for $20.00 each, nonrefundable, at the Engineering Department at City Hall, 38 1st Street West. Questions or requests for additional information shall be emailed to sylvia.miller@dickinsongov.com Each bid is to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and is to be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Administrator. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the BIDDER as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this State, conditioned that if the principal’s bid be accepted and the contract be awarded to the BIDDER, the BIDDER will execute and affect a contract in accordance with the terms of the BIDDER’S bid and provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Bid Bond and Contractor’s License Renewal Certificate shall be submitted in a separate envelope attached to the outside of the bid envelope. BIDDERS must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid. Each Bid shall be marked on the outside of the envelope with the name “Sidewalk Improvement District 202307-1” the date of the proposal, the name of the Bidder, and acknowledgment of any Addendums that were received. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold bids for a period not to exceed 30 days from said date of opening of bids. Dated: May 2, 2023.
