BIDS FOR ROAD EQUIPMENT The Board of County Commissioners of Dunn County, North Dakota, will receive sealed bids to be opened at the hour of 10:00 A.M., M.S.T., on May 3, 2023 for the purchase of the following: One –627K Push-Pull Wheel Tractor Scraper or equivalent. Bids must be based upon specifications on file in the office of the Dunn County Highway Department. BID BOND REQUIREMENT: A bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder’s bond in a sum equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is awarded to him. When the bid is $20,000 or less the bidder may, in lieu of such bond, submit in a separate envelope a certified or cashier’s check equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid made payable to the Board, with direction to the Board that if the bidder is successful in obtaining the award and fails to enter into the contract, that the Board may receive the face amount of the certified check or cashier’s check as liquidated damages. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept any bids that appear in the best interest to the county.
