Mayor Jason Lee called the meeting to order December 10, 2020 at 7:01 PM.
Present were: Mayor - Jason Lee, City Auditor - Faith Van Horn
Alderpersons: Marnie Dietz, Sue Feldman, Denise Dietz, Troy Finneman
City Council Meeting Minutes from November 9, 2020 were read and approved as written.
Department Reports:
Lagoon/Landfill/Streets - KLJ was contacted about vacating section of road and turning into a lot, waiting for results. Discussion of putting mills on section of road was discussed.
Grounds - Nothing new to report.
Water/Sewer - Waiting on new water meters to be replaced.
Buildings - Waiting on motion lights to be installed.
Discussion
•Sue Feldman made a motion to enroll in EFTPS Marnie Dietz seconded. Motion passed.
•Marnie Dietz made motion to set up payroll subscription in QuickBooks, and hire Brady Martz to do W-2's and 1099's, Troy Finneman seconded. Motion passed.
•Marnie Dietz made a motion to approve 2021 Liquor License for Olson Service, Denise Dietz seconded. Motion passed.
•Discussion about purchasing decorations for city hall was discussed. Sue Feldman made motion to spend $100.00 on decorations, Denise Dietz seconded. Motion passed.
•Southwest Water Authority raised prices $.10 per 1000 gallons for the 2021 year. Letters will be sent out with water bills in January, new pricing effective for January 1, 2021, for January's usage payable in February 2021.
•Discussion regarding Dakota Pump and Control's Annual Inspection Agreement. Troy Finneman motioned to sign the Agreement; Sue Feldman seconded. Motion passed.
•Discussion regarding extending the due date on invoice for customer who had a water leak. Sue Feldman made motion to extend the due date to March 1, 2021. Troy Finneman seconded. Motion passed.
