Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the City of Richardton until 4:30 p.m. MST, Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the Richardton City Hall, 111 North Avenue West, Richardton, ND 58652, at which they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of Water Utility Project 2020-01 D Street Watermain Replacement.

Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH) dated April 15, 2020.

Paper copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. located at 4719 Shelburne Street, Suite 6, Bismarck, ND 58503 in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders upon payment of $150.00/Set. Checks should be made out to Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. No refunds will be provided.
A Pre-bid Conference will not be held. Bidders wishing to visit the site shall contact the City Engineer to arrange a site visit.
Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of addenda on both the outside of the proposal envelope and on the appropriate blanks on the proposal documents.
Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope, attached to the outside of the proposal envelope, containing the contractor’s license, and bid security. Bidders will be required to provide a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of bid amount.
The successful Bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds of 100 percent of bid amount.
The Owner reserves right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids or bidding.
