New England Public School Addition Advertisement for Bids
JE Dunn, as Construction Manager, is taking bids until Wednesday, July 1st at 2:00 PM MST for the construction of the New England Public School Addition. Project consists of an approximate 30,000 SF single story expansion onto the existing New England Public School including a new gymnasium with locker rooms, music room, new kitchen/cafeteria, new classrooms, and ADA compliant restrooms, and multi-purpose commons space. Interior renovation of the existing includes approximately 6,750 SF of renovation including new fitness room and additional classrooms.
A pre-bid conference will be held onsite at 2:00 PM MST, Thursday June 18th, 2020. The Engineer and Construction Manager will be in attendance to review the documents and answer any questions.
No bids will be accepted after 2:00 PM on the bid date. Public bid opening will be held at the New England Public School at 2:00 PM on Wednesday July 1st, 2020.
The scopes of work for which we are accepting bids are: Surveying, Selective Demolition, Building & Site Concrete, Masonry, Structural & Miscellaneous Steel, Metal Roofing, Wall Panels & Sheet Metal, Fiber Cement Siding, Membrane Roofing, Joint Sealants and Firestopping, Weather & Air Barriers, Doors, Frames, and Hardware, Glass and Glazing, Drywall, Fire Suppression, Mechanical, Electrical, Earthwork, and Site Utilities.

Bids must be submitted by one of the following methods:
1. Mailed to the JE Dunn Dickinson office. 766 Elks Drive, Suite B, Dickinson, ND 58601. Bids that are mailed must be received a day in advance on June 30th.
2. Emailed to Seth Larson with JE Dunn Construction at seth.larson@jedunn.com
3. Hand deliver to the public bid opening at New England School on July 1st, 2020.
All bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the bid per sections. If not, the bid will be rejected, and the contract awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder.
The Bid Proposal Form and Scope of Work included in JE Dunn Front End Specifications should be filled out correctly.
After all bids are opened and read out loud, JE Dunn shall then evaluate the bids, at a later date, and determine which is the most responsible.
The Governing body reserves the right to reject any and all bids based on past experiences with a subcontractor or a current legal dispute with a subcontractor, and/or rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
