APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE STARK COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing for the following request was held on September 2, 2021 at the Stark County Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting at 3:00 p.m. in the Dakota Room at the Stark County Family and Ag Resource. This request was approved by the Stark County Commission at their September 7, 2021 commission meeting.
RZ 04-21- Trent Landis and Mason Eberts are requesting a rezoning from Agriculture to Rural Residential on a parcel located in the NE ¼ of Section 27, Township 140, Range 97 containing approximately five (5) acres.
Any person aggrieved by the decision of the County Commission may protest the decision or appeal the decision to the district court. Protests or appeals to the board of county commission do require a formal application and are initiated with the zoning administrator in accordance with Chapter 8.8 of the Stark County Zoning Ordinance.
NOTICE OF APPROVAL OF A DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM ON WIND ENERGY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing for a development moratorium on wind energy was held on September 2, 2021 at the Stark County Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting at 3:00 p.m. in the Dakota Room at the Stark County Family and Ag Resource. This request was approved by the Stark County Commission at their September 7, 2021 commission meeting. The development moratorium in Stark County, North Dakota, is limited to the acceptance, consideration, and/or approval of any wind energy conditional use permit applications in Stark County, North Dakota, from and after September 13, 2021, for a time not to exceed nine months, unless an extension is granted by the Stark County Board of County Commissioners.
