Chairman Kuntz calls the 2020 Election Canvassing meeting to order. Members present: George Nodland, Mike Lefor, Shirley Meyer, Fern Pokorny, Kim Kasian ~ County Recorder, Linda Splichal ~ Clerk of Court, Deputy Auditor & Election Official Natalie Wandler, Chairman Kuntz. Also present, Jim Hope Assistant State's Attorney, Pam Winhold & Nicole Roberts County Auditor's office. The meeting was open to the public and access granted through a conference call.

Review of Ballots
12 Ballots that were postmarked after the November 2nd deadline. MOTION BY: Shirley Meyer SECOND BY: Mike Lefor To reject 12 ballots DISPOSITION: Roll call vote. All vote aye. Motion carried.
9 Ballots that were dropped off in the drop box after the November 2nd deadline MOTION BY: Mike Lefor SECOND BY: George Nodland To reject 9 ballots DISPOSITION: Roll call vote. All vote aye. Motion carried.
5 Ballots with correct postmark date MOTION BY: Kim Kasian SECOND BY: Fern Pokorny To accept 5 ballots DISPOSITION: Roll call vote. All vote aye. Motion carried.

Set Aside Ballots- If a voter comes into the polling location without an ID or cannot provide supplemental information to their ID they may vote a set aside ballot. Voters must return to the Stark County Auditor's Office prior to canvass to verify their information.

Discussion was had about Auditors office checking into Soil Conservation District write in Ballots. MOTION BY: George Nodland SECOND BY: Shirley Meyer Auditor's verify that Norris Marx the candidate receiving the most votes, qualifies as land owner. If not to move to the next person with the highest number of votes and go down the line until they find someone that qualifies. DISPOSITION: Roll call vote. All vote aye. Motion carried.
Deputy Auditor/ Election Official Natalie Wandler asks committee to fill out the payroll paperwork and mileage for any board member that wishes to get paid. All Board member wished to donated their time.
