Chester is a 3 year old peeler, a mix of a pit and heeler, who is a busy body with a bit of a cheeky personality. He loves his walks, but adores his velvetta cheese most of all — it's the shortcut to his heart. He knows some basic commands, but his mannerisms shines most when going for walks on his leash.
His forever home would have to be one without cats, unless they're willing to be his play pal. He does well with other dogs tolerant of his energy level. Chester is a bit suspicious of new people around him, which is a common trait for pit-heelers. His sense of loyalty is especially dominate, and once connected with a human gives them complete devotion.
Chester is micro chipped, neutered, up to date with his records and is house trained.

The Dickinson Press is happy to team up with the Dickinson Area Animal Coalition to help find our furry friends new homes that will be loving and caring to their needs. There are different ways that you can participate in helping ensure that each and every animal is treated with love and kindness, even if it doesn't include adopting or fostering. Those interested in helping can donate, volunteer and/or advocate by contacting the DAAC via email, at firstname.lastname@example.org
