‘The Bachelor’ heads to Deadwood next week

DEADWOOD, S.D. -- Next Monday’s episode of “The Bachelor” will prominently feature the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Chris Soules, the titular bachelor often referred to as “Prince Farming” because he is a farmer from Arlington, Iowa, and his bachelorette suitors filmed the reality TV show at the Deadwood Mountain Grand resort and the Martin & Mason Hotel , according to news releases. The filming included a concert by Big & Rich.

“The Bachelor” airs at 6 p.m. Mondays on ABC.
