GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The Eagles will bring their "History of the Eagles" tour to the Dakotas this summer.
The longtime popular rock band will perform at the new Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls on Thursday, June 5, and on the Alerus Center stage on Friday, June 5.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public for the Grand Forks concert beginning at 10 a.m., March 20, at the Alerus Center ticket office, ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Ticket prices range from $59 to $175.
The band was formed in 1971 and consists of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh.
The Eagles have released six No. 1 albums and five No. 1 singles. They are known for such hits as "Hotel California," "Witchy Woman" and "Take it Easy."

The concert is the fourth such national touring act to announce a show in Grand Forks in recent months. Earlier this year, the Alerus Center announced shows by country artist Luke Bryan on May 8 and rock band Def Leppard on Aug. 28. Country singer Eric Church will also visit Grand Forks, playing at Ralph Engelstad Arena April 7.
