DSU plans reclamation workshop
Dickinson State University and North Dakota State University will present the sixth annual reclamation workshop titled “Reclamation: Unique Perspectives” on Feb. 20-21 at the Astoria Hotel & Event Center in Dickinson.
Tuesday’s session will highlight keynote speaker State Senator Kelly Armstrong from Dickinson. He will discuss legal issues surrounding development. Vendors will present their services and/or products in a trade show atmosphere. Registration begins at 3 p.m. with the trade show opening at 5 p.m. and the keynote speaker at 6:30 p.m.
The workshop on Wednesday will have three sessions beginning at 8 a.m. with breakfast being served at 7:30 a.m. The morning sessions are on “Wildlife” and “Monitoring” while the afternoon session is titled “Going Back to Basics.”
The event will be hosted by the NDSU Extension Service, DSU, the Society for Range Management, USDA-ARS and BKS Environmental Associates, Inc.
