ROCHESTER, Minn. — A former Rochester Post Bulletin reporter and national freelancer will join Forum Communications as a health care reporter this month.
Paul Scott begins his role Monday, July 15.
He will report on the business of health care with a focus on trends, economics, policy and regulations, research and other aspects of the industry. The position will provide accountability reporting on Mayo Clinic, the University of Minnesota and the health care industry on a regional and national level.

Scott worked for the Post Bulletin in 2015. As a freelance journalist, he’s produced health care content for publications including the Star Tribune (Minneapolis), New York Times, Men’s Journal, Men’s Health, Outside and Runner’s World.
Scott will report for Forum News Service and work out of the Post Bulletin newsroom. He is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul and lives in Rochester.
The company also is planning to hire a second health reporter to work out of Fargo, N.D., or Sioux Falls, S.D.
