$1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Williston

WILLISTON - A convenience store in Williston sold a winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million, but no one had immediately come forward to claim the prize.

WILLISTON – A convenience store in Williston sold a winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million, but no one had immediately come forward to claim the prize.

The winning Powerball ticket for the Saturday draw matched all five white balls. It was sold at the Horizon Resources Cenex at 209 Washington Ave. in Williston. The winning numbers were 5, 11, 16, 26, 50 and the Powerball was 34.

The last million-dollar North Dakota Powerball prize was won on Sept. 21, 2013. The ticket was sold at Sunmart in West Fargo to an anonymous winner from West Fargo.
