Two drivers have been killed in a head-on collision south of Killdeer.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a pickup lost traction on the ice-covered roadway and slid into the path of an oncoming truck. The crash happened about 9:45 a.m. Thursday on State Highway 22.
The patrol says both drivers were killed and an 8-year-old girl in the truck was hurt. The victims' names have not been released. The patrol says the pickup driver was a 44-year-old from either Pendelton or Dickinson, and the truck driver was a 50-year-old from Dunn Center.
