FARGO (AP) -- Two North Dakota State students have been arrested after attempting to climb down a Fargo water tower with rappelling equipment.
Fargo police Sgt. Jeff Skuza says 21-year-old Anant Daksh Afthana and 23-year-old David Charles Martinson were picked up just before 4 a.m. Saturday after a woman reported seeing them on the tower. They face charges of criminal trespass.
Skuza says one of the men was climbing down as officers arrived and slipped, falling the last 10 feet. He wasn't hurt.
Skuza says there's no evidence the men tampered with the water supply.
No numbers were listed for either man in Fargo.
