FARGO -- Libertarian Jack Seaman announced Tuesday he will again run for North Dakota’s only congressional seat.
Seaman received the Libertarian Party of North Dakota’s endorsement at their annual meeting in November of last year.
Seaman owns MinDak Gold Exchange, a precious metals dealer in downtown Fargo and lives in south Fargo.
Seaman was also the Libertarian candidate for U.S. House in 2014, won by Republican Kevin Cramer.
“I’m very excited to get this campaign under way. We ran a solid campaign in 2014 and I am looking to build on that success in 2016 and becoming North Dakota’s next Congressman. More and more people across our state realize that by continually electing Republicans and Democrats we get more of the same from Washington, D.C. -- more debt, more spending, more war, and less individual freedom, just as I warned many times throughout my 2014 campaign.” Seaman said in a news release.
