The North Dakota State University Extension Service is hosting its equine encounters workshop on Tuesday, June 7, at Dickinson State University.
The workshop will cover hands-on pasture weed identification, deworming protocols, seasonal vaccination, and is for youth and adults to learn about pasture and manure management, and general health recommendations for their animals, according to a release.
The workshops begin with registration and supper at 5:30 p.m. with the program at 6 p.m. The fee is $5 per person. Preregistration is appreciated.
The workshop will be at the DSU Ag Building, but will be held outdoors so attendees should wear proper footwear and bring insect repellant.
