BISMARCK-Lisbon has the best-tasting tap water in North Dakota.
That's according to the results of a taste test at the 89th annual North Dakota Water & Pollution Control Conference in Fargo. Conference attendees selected Valley City, McVille and Lisbon as the top three contenders in a blind taste test, according to a news release.
Mandan won last year's competition, Valley City won the year before and Fargo won in 2014.
The conference is a joint effort between the North Dakota sections of the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Association, the American Public Works Association and the North American Stormwater & Erosion Control Association.
