The regional Badlands Crime Stoppers and Dickinson Police Department are asking for help and offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) involved in multiple residential burglaries committed on Thanksgiving Day in the City of Dickinson.

On Thanksgiving Day, a burglary occurred between 6 p.m and 6:30 p.m. on the 800 block of 27 St W. The thieves stole a collection of coins and jewelry from within the residence. The value of the coins has not been determined. Police believe there were multiple unknown suspects involved in the burglary.

Within the hour, a second burglary was reported to police at 7 p.m. on the 500 block of 5 Ave SE. In this burglary, the thieves also stole a collection of coins of an undetermined value. Additionally, two firearms were stolen including a Remington 870 shotgun and Savage .22LR.

According to Capt. David Wilkie of the Dickinson Police Department, the burglaries may be connected as evidence suggests the same perpetrators were involved in both incidents.
