Name released, age corrected in fatal south-central ND crash
LINTON, N.D. — A 65-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday, Aug. 16, when his Harley Davidson left the roadway hit an embankment, and flew into the air near Linton.
The driver, now identified as Mark Henninger, was driving south on ND Highway 1804 about 2:45 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and was ejected, according to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Henninger was transported to Linton Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
A previous release incorrectly listed Henninger’s age as 66.
Linton is about 65 miles southeast of Bismarck.
