NEW TOWN, N.D. -- A man was killed when his vehicle rolled Tuesday morning about two miles north of New Town in the western part of North Dakota.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Darren Cooley from Kooskia, Idaho, appeared to miss a left-hand curve on a hill on state Highway 1804. As the curve decended into a valley, his 2012 Dodge Ram pickup went off the right shoulder, went airborne and struck the downslope of a ditch, causing it to overturn. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, the patrol said.
