Two hurt when school buses collide in Bismarck
BISMARCK — A bus driver and a student were treated for minor injuries after two school buses collided Thursday morning, Jan. 31.
Bismarck police Lt. Luke Gardiner said bus driver Ronald Zarr, 72, told police he mistakenly took some medication from a container he thought contained mints. He became nauseous, dizzy and fatigued and had planned to stop driving at Horizon Middle School.
A student who complained of minor neck pain and Zarr were taken to the hospital. The rest of the students were taken to school.
The accident report has been forwarded to the Bismarck city attorney for review, Gardiner said.
