MITCHELL, S.D. -- The victim in a fatal crash that occurred Sunday near Parkston has been named.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety said Quincy Greaves, 30, Yankton, died when the 2010 Acura TSX she was driving westbound on South Dakota Highway 44 left the road due to icy conditions. The vehicle left the road, entered the south ditch and rolled about two miles west of Parkston near mile marker 346.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:58 a.m.
Greaves, who was the only person involved in the crash, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
