Areas of Stark, Dunn, Morton and Mercer counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 4:45 today, according to the National Weather Service.
Southeastern Dunn County, southwestern Mercer, northwestern Morton and northeastern Stark County are under the warning.
AT 3:55 p.m. radar indicated a storm about 9 miles north of Richardton. The storm is capable of producing quarter-size hail, according to the service. And heavy rain could lead to flash floods.
