Artist of famed Obama poster arrested in Boston

BOSTON (AP) -- Police in Boston say the artist famous for his "Hope" posters of President Obama has been arrested on outstanding warrants.

The image, Fairey has acknowledged, is based on an Associated Press photograph made in April 2006. The AP says it owns the copyright, and wants credit and compensation. Fairey's attorney, Anthony Falzone says "We believe fair use protects Shepard's right to do what he did here."
