Artist Shepard Fairey poses beside his "Obama HOPE" image, part of an exhibit of his work at the Institute of Contemporary Art Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, in Boston. The image, Fairey has acknowledged, is based on an Associated Press photograph made in April 2006. The AP says it owns the copyright, and wants credit and compensation. Fairey's attorney, Anthony Falzone says "We believe fair use protects Shepard's right to do what he did here."
