BUFFALO, S.D. (AP) -- Trial has been scheduled for a Texas man charged in a crash in South Dakota that killed women from North Dakota and Wyoming.
The Rapid City Journal reports that 34-year-old Winchester Wearden of Austin, Texas, is to stand trial Aug. 21-22 in Buffalo on two counts of second-degree manslaughter.
Wearden was cited for reckless driving and passing in a no-passing zone after the crash last Nov. 20.
