The Badlands Right to Life is sponsoring a Community Day with activities for the entire family. The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, in the Dickinson West River Community Center.
"It's a community event for families to come out and have fun," said committee member Amanda Ellerkamp.
The day features musical entertainment, swimming, food, a bake sale, door prizes and a raffle.
Ellerkamp said approximately 30 business and organizations are having booths to showcase their life-affirming services. They include the North Dakota Right to Life, Special Olympics, Catholic Daughters, Camp ReCreation, hospice, Knights of Columbus and schools.
Raffle prizes include savings bonds, a fishing package, a quilted wall hanging, Medora Musical tickets, a garden statue and baby blankets.

"There's really something for everybody," she said. "It's a free event, there's no admission charge."
