Dickinson held a 40-23 lead at halftime and quickly expanded on that in the second half, exploding out of the gates to build a 55-25 lead.

"I thought defensively, we were very solid," Winczewski said.

Andy Yantes led the Saints, who fell to 2-15 overall and 2-12 in the West Region, with 12 points and three rebounds.

The fifth-ranked Midgets improved to 12-5 overall and 10-5 in the West. They host Custer County (Mont.) at 7:30 p.m. today before wrapping up their regular season at home against Mandan next Tuesday.

"It's something to build off of and we'll just keep working toward the (West Region) tournament," Winczewski said. "Any one you can get in our league is nice."
