A backpack containing five 1-pound packages of methamphetamine was located in a ditch Saturday evening.
A woman was jogging on the 1100 block of 41st Street Southwest when she spotted a bag, which she suspected someone had misplaced. After opening the black sack, she realized it contained drugs and reported the incident to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
The case has been passed onto the drug task force for further investigation. There are no suspects at this time.
