Blotter: Items stolen from storage unit

o A 28-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for simple assault-domestic violence after he allegedly hit a woman in the head with his fist on the 200 block of C Street on Tuesday around 1:20 a.m.

• A 28-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for simple assault-domestic violence after he allegedly hit a woman in the head with his fist on the 200 block of C Street on Tuesday around 1:20 a.m.

• Items were reported missing from a storage unit on the 100 block of Sims Street on Tuesday morning. Items missing included a chair and a painting, among other things. Police are awaiting a full list of missing items. The case is under investigation and there are no suspects.

• A home on the 1400 block of Second Street West was allegedly broken into on Wednesday morning. The resident reported that someone had entered the home while she was sleeping and stolen various items, including a duffle bag and clothing. The items are valued at $115. There is a suspect in the case, and their probation officer has been contacted, but police have not heard from the possible suspect.
