Blotter: Police find methamphetamine, arrest two

Two Dickinson men were arrested Tuesday on drug charges after the Dickinson Police Department found 64.6 grams of meth at a residence on the 1600 block of Second Avenue East after obtaining a search warrant.

Two Dickinson men were arrested Tuesday on drug charges after the Dickinson Police Department found 64.6 grams of meth at a residence on the 1600 block of Second Avenue East after obtaining a search warrant.

John Johnson, 49, was arrested for possession of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. Dennis Brunmeier, 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dickinson man arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia

A Dickinson man was charged with possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, a Class C felony, in court Tuesday.

Jamie Stroh, born in 1976, was allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia, including a syringe, with intent to inject, inhale or otherwise introduce methamphetamine into the body.  

A warrant for his arrest was issued at the hearing.

Structure fire damages kitchen

The Dickinson Fire Department responded on Monday to a small structure fire call at a residence on the first block of Fourth Avenue East.

The fire was sparked by a candle, which caught on window drapes and proceeded to burn a kitchen window. The homeowners were able to put out the small blaze, and firefighters used ventilatde the area.

The Dickinson Fire Department used three apparatuses and 30 firefighters to respond to a vehicle rollover Monday on the 800 block of Heart Drive in Dickinson.

As of Tuesday afternoon,The Dickinson Police Department had not filed a report on the incident. No further information on the crash or who was involved was available by press time.
