Blotter: Two suspected of causing $11,000 worth of damage to trailer home

The owner of a trailer home on the 200 block of Fourth Street Southwest reported that someone had allegedly vandalised a trailer home on Friday morning, Dickinson Police Capt. David Wilkie said. However, when officers arrived they arrested a 34-year-old Dickinson man for possession of drug paraphernalia-marijuana, possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of a scheduled drug. He also had a warrant out for his arrest for probation violation.
At the same time, a 40-year-old Dickinson woman at the same location was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia-marijuana and possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
The owner estimates that there was around $11,000 worth of damage done to the home, including several broken doors, windows and cabinets as well as holes in the walls of nearly every room. The two are suspected for doing the damage.
The case has been forwarded to the state's attorney's office for consideration of vandalism charges.

• A 19-year-old Alexandria, Minn. man was arrested for disorderly conduct-alarming acts on the 900 block of 22nd Avenue East around 2 a.m. Thursday.

• A 29-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for driving under the influence on the 300 block of Villard Street East on Thursday night.

• A Dickinson resident reported that someone had allegedly stolen approximately $1,500 worth of stereo equipment from her car on the 1700 block of Yellowstone Circle on Friday morning. There was no sign of forced entry and there are no suspects.

• A woman reported that someone had allegedly stolen her purse out of the front seat of her car while it was parked at Walmart on Friday afternoon. The woman told police the purse contained hydrocodone, a pain medication. There are no suspects at this time. The purse is valued at $20 and the pills are worth approximately $25.

• A 41-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for simple assault-domestic violence after an altercation with his wife on the 100 block of Third Avenue West on Friday night. He allegedly punched her in the face.

• A 39-year-old New England man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under suspension and resisting arrest following a traffic stop on the 10 block of Third Street Southwest on Sunday around 2:30 a.m. He allegedly put his hands in his pockets and was resistive while being handcuffed.
