GRAND FORKS -- Judith Boel had her best match as a Blue Hawk in just her fifth outing with Dickinson State.

Boel had 17 kills and a .810 hitting percentage - just a few points shy of the school single-game record - to lead DSU to a 30-15, 30-18, 30-21 victory over Minnesota-Crookston on Friday night at the University of North Dakota tournament.

Boel's performance was extremely impressive to DSU coach Dave Moody, who called her hitting percentage, "pretty much up there in cyberspace someplace."

The Blue Hawks improved to 5-0 on the season.

Elizabeth Rodriguez added 11 kills and five blocks. Nancy Nyongesa had 10 kills and four blocks.

"(It was) the best match of the year so far," Moody said. "Our level was wonderful."

The Blue Hawks hit .488 as a team.

The Golden Eagles, who play in the NCAA Division II Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, dropped to 2-4.

"We played well against a good team," Moody said.
