BOWMAN - A Bowman man was killed Friday morning after rolling a semi.
The unnamed driver of a 2006 Kenworth was going east on 88th Street Southwest near 167th Avenue Southwest at about 6 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The vehicle went off the roadway and crossed the approach. It appears the driver attempted to drive back on the roadway, but the vehicle rolled and came to rest in the south ditch on the driver’s side. The driver was declared dead at the scene.
It is unknown if the driver was wearing a seatbelt. The semi was totaled, and the crash is under investigation.
The Highway Patrol withheld the driver’s name pending contact with family.
